Rooms in the park's newest hotel will feature a plug-shaped bed where guests can watch movies lying down, wake up calls in Rei Ayanami's voice, decor featuring blacklight wall graphics, and heaps of Evangelion artwork. Cosplay Fail: CyberMan Swimsuit
A competitor wearing a Doctor Who Cybermen cap competes in the UK Cold Water Swimming Championships at the Tooting Bec lido in London.
Wow, talk about cosplay fail. I’m kind of greatful we can’t see what he’s wearing down below. Run Doctor Who, Run!

Seriously Creepy Batgirl
Something about this cosplayer's mask just strikes me as terribly creepy. I think it's supposed to be Cassandra Cain as Batgirl. I only caught on after I found the photo below the cut, which was more clearly labeled. Check out the rest of the Dangerousladies gallery for some seriously quality cosplay.

Ame-Comi Wonder Woman
It's always nice to see someone trying an interesting variation on an old standard. In this case, I'd have to say that this Ame-Comi version is a significant improvement over the norm - maybe because Wonder Woman has always been among the hardest costumes to pull off to begin with. I wish that DC would do a quality anime version of Justice League with a Wonder Woman who looked like this.

Kids: Baby in a Tardis
Baby’s first TARDIS (Via)
Over at the blog Mateo and Me, Jennifer posted pictures of the TARDIS that Mateo's graphic designer father made for him for his birthday. Mateo's dad made it out of corrugated cardboard, which is what he works in.

I love the quote that goes along with this image on deviantart.com source page: "Took this shot for two special little girls. They don’t believe in Santa - but they believe in Ms. Marvel."

Aquaman as a Woman
Aquaman as a Woman by Buddhaful
I stumbled across this Deviant Art gallery while searching for some Aquaman illustrations to Photoshop into a disparaging demotivational poster, and needless to say, I wasn't laughing when I got a load of this costume. Best Aquaman costume ever!
According to the poster, these were taken for a calender that never came to fruition, which is a shame, as I would sooo have bought one of those. Do yourself a favor and check out the rest of the gallery below.

Merchandise: Neon Genesis Costumes
If you needed anymore proof that the Japanese take the whole cosplay thing more seriously than we do, here it is. For only a piddling $6,800, you too can own your own Neon Genesis Evangelion costume. Mind you, I might pay that if I knew a girl crazy enough to wear one for me, but in the mean time, the price makes this seem a bit ridiculous. From what I gather from news clippings, though, these are extremely popular and selling very well.

Tattoos: Tardis
My SailorJerry style T.A.R.D.I.S, freshly finished and shiny. Done on my calf, the matching Dalek “Fear” will be done in late January on the other leg.
One of 6 geeky-pieces (T.A.R.D.I.S, Cthulhu, StarTrek(x2), BSG, and D&D) since I know that my nerdom is the one thing about me that is a constant.
Done by the absolutely amazing Jimmi Hellbent (currently residing at Adrenaline in Toronto).

Terran Ghost from Starcraft
Terran Ghost from Starcraft from the 2010 BlizzCon
Worn by a serious StarCraft Ghost fan at this year’s BlizzCon, this incredible costume would look great, even if there weren’t a smokin’ hot girl wearing it – but that certainly doesn’t hurt. while it doesn’t look exactly like the costume from the never-released game, I think I know who’s going to win their office costume contest anyhow. Check out the rest of the photos.
