Edward

Taken at Otakon 2010

One of my all-time favorite anime characters. To this day, I'm waiting for Ed to get her own spin-off.

Watch all the way through to the end. Yes, she's lethal, but she's also adorable.

Tattoo: Thunder Cats Logo

No matter how big a Thundercats fan you are, you might want to think twice before spending four hours getting the logo tattoo permanently on your body. Tatts don’t get much scarier than this.

Costume made by Rebecca and worn by Tom

Tom made the gun which has LED orange and blue lights. Had a few issues with the fabric as my local fabric store had run out of the right orange fabric so I dyed it. I also ran out of time as the commission was very late and hence it is missing quite a few details.

Leave it to a guy to make certain he's got the biggest portal gun on the convention floor.

Cristina Gomez as Chell @ Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) 2008

Although Chell's origins are unknown, she was most definitely among the people present during GLaDOS's activation in 200-, as GLaDOS locked down the facility after her activation, letting none escape, or be let in from the outside.

Video: Ravenclaws

Here's a parody of Rebecca Black's "Friday" sung by a serious Harry Potter fan about the Ravenclaws, the nerdiest of all the Harry Potter houses. It's awesome both because its true, with the exception of Hermione, the Gryffindors were idiots. Also she kind of owns Rebecca Black, seeing as she manages to sing the entire song without autotune and with better lyrics to boot.

You can download the mp3 from Supload.

Kids: Sith Apprentice Interview

Sariah Gallego is the cute kid who recently became majorly internet famous for pledging her allegiance to Darth Vader in the middle of a stage show at the Disney Star Wars experience. Well, here's the inevitable follow up interview. She talks about her love of Star Wars in general and the Sith in particular.

It's a bit funny that she already has her own "Sithgirl" banner and shirt. Clearly, her parents are rolling with the internet fame, as opposed to trying to steer her clear of the questionable interest of the interest, but for now, the whole thing is still pretty funny.

I understand that somebody cropped out my watermark and that photo's been passed along the internet . A lot. Look, dude, it's there for a reason. Don't do that, it's not cool to us artists/costumers. Thank you to those that are giving me credit where credit is due, tho.

Here's a more "professional" looking photo of my Chell, to replace that random con-scenario shot XD Note that I didn't touch the blue lights on my face in photoshop- the lights are just really friggin' bright.

Group: Best Civil War Reenactment Ever

Civil War re-enactors are joined by pop culture cosplayers including members of the Rebel Legion and the 501st Legion who got into the fun at the Ohio Statehouse lawn to mark the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, Sunday, April 10 , 2011.
So... are the hot chicks in this photo playing the roles of Lee and Grant or Davis and Lincoln?

All I can say is that if the Empire had started with this genetic material for their StormTrooper cloning program, the Rebel Alliance wouldn't have stood a chance.

Kids: New Sith Apprentice

Little Sariah Gallego picks a rather awkward time to swear allegiance to the Dark Side during a stage show at Disneyland. I love how the Stormtrooper gives an arm pump when she kneels.

Kids: Star Wars Droid Twins

The Burton Twins as Star Wars Droids at Celebration V

The girls are the daughters of Juiceman1138 and costume designer humblebumbleb, who writes:

"The base of the dresses is sewn using New Look pattern # 6878. It's a quick and easy pattern that I make for my girls for every holiday and event. The dresses were then embellished with puff paint. That's right, the same thing we all used when we were 10 years old to paint on everything, it is one of my favorite craft supplies. A little felt here and there for R2's panel, and finished the outfits off with little bow head bands from the left over fabric.

I wanted to make my girl's "costumes" that I knew they would be comfortable in and wear all day and that would be cute and girly."

Tattoo: Fullbody Tardis

I've met a lot of people who love Doctor Who, but this girl takes the fandom to a whole new level.  The girl getting the TARDIS tattoo explained that the this tattoo represents the travels that she has encountered in her life, as well as her future travels.

Kids: Mad Max Reenactment

Kids Reenact Mad Max by Tino Schaedler & Achim Lippoth

In this photo set, a young boy dressed like Mad Max (Mel Gibson) has a hostile encounter with a tribe of savages in the middle of the desert. The photos were commissioned by 'Kid's Wear' magazine. They are the first collaboration of adNAU's Tino Schaedler and photographer Achim Lippoth. Schaedler designed the vehicles in imitation of the movie's as well as the sets, which were augmented with computer-generated landscapes by Hamburg-based production house The Scope.

Redditor Captaincripple lost his leg last year in a motorbike accident, so when came the time to have a prosthetic leg made for him, he asked Reddit for some creative ideas on how he could make the prosthesis look like a work of art. Last week he revealed the results.

Iron Man Cosplay Of The Day

Inspired by Iron Man 2, Ryan Brooks built the world’s first Iron Man Mark V Briefcase suit of armor out of 4,000 LEGO technic pieces over the course of 1,200 man hours.  Brooks won Best In Show last month at ComicCon Toronto 2011 with this costume. Here's a video of him stepping into his costume.  If you're interested in building your own, here are the instructions.
