"While I grew up with Sonic and Crash Bandicoot, kids today are more familiar with Jak and Daxter. Tess here is the love interest for our hero, Jak, in case that wasn’t obvious by her being a blonde, female version of him. But this is the first time I’ve seen her brought to life, and it’s really a great costume by Momo here."

Pit (from Kid Icarus Uprising) by Li Kovacs
"Earlier this year, Nintendo contacted me to create a Pit costume and model as Pit for them from their Nintendo 3DS game "Kid Icarus Uprising". I was hired to model, flown out from California to work PAX East in Boston, MA as the official Pit costumed character to promoting the game, and hand out exclusive KIU AR cards!
The costume and myself to model as Pit was approved by Nintendo and Masahiro Sakurai himself before hand. They provided references so I can recreate the costume as accurately as possible and each stage of the costume needed to go through approvals before moving on.
I really like Kid Icarus and Pit is such a fun character to play as! I always wanted to make a Pit costume. This is also probably one of my most comfortable costumes and doesn't take very long to put on. This was also my first time creating wings. Definitely a challenge and learning experience! I will be putting up a tutorial on how to make wings real soon! "

"Like my previous version of the bandit mask this is cast in resin and hand painted to give it the weathered look. I have designed a new bracket for the leds which allow the lights to hover in the middle of the socket just like the game. They are placed in such a way that the user can still see out without the leds blinding them. I have also changed the resperator to more reflect the look of the mask in the game. You can check out my cosplay test shots here and the Buzz Axe here and my wip blog here."

This is Lee Houlgate, a cosplayer and cosplay constructor living in the UK, he wants to build the awesomest StarCraft marine mech suit cosplay known to man. The suit itself will be an impressive 8' feet tall and for some perspective, the gun alone is 5' feet in length.
He plans on having this steel / aluminium suit built to the hilt with robotics that increases his strength, NERF gun weaponry (for blasting), and all the gadgets and gizmos any space marine would have or ever need. If you are interested in helping him out, check out his kickstarter project to learn more.

“When somebody asks for an animal or creature, I love painting something so extreme that when they look in the mirror they no longer see their own face, but that animal staring back at them.”
