The suit actually originates from a short film called Heartless: The Story of the Tin Man, by Whitestone Motion Pictures. The original suit was that of the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz.

The Tin Man Suit was Designed by Bill Johnson, then sculpted by Bill and Matt Silva. Dustin Fletcher and Johnathon Thorton also assisted with creating the mold, cast, and final paint of the Tin Man. The total time for the build was about 2 weeks with mainly Bill, Johnathon and Matt working around the clock.

The Iron Man you see here is Matt’s modified version of that original screen suit. The paint scheme and job where all of Matt’s design, and the lower torso and helmet were modded by Matt.

Please take the time to check out the people behind the original Tin Man suit, and watch Heartless to see it in action. ^_^

Whitestone Motion Pictures, makers of the film, Heartless - http://www.whitestonemotionpictures.com

Bill Johnson, original Tin Man Suit designer a - http://www.lonewolffx.com

Matt Silva's fabrication and production company, Penny Dreadful Productions - http://www.getdreadful.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13558451431766367046noreply@blogger.com
