Holly Conrad of Crabcat Industries (as well as from Syfy’s Heroes of Cosplay) created a replica of Winifred Sanderson’s book from Hocus Pocus for a friend’s wedding. And I want it so bad. She sculpted, cast, and painted it while Hilary Grimes bound it into an actual book.

Fan Film: BOOKER, CATCH!
"BOOKER, CATCH!" by Nerdist
Chris Hardwick (The Talking Dead) and Chloe Dykstra star in this funny Bioshock Infinite fan-made short called "Booker, Catch!" He was wearing this outfit during a few panels at Comic-Con this year. I've also seen him wearing it in a couple of other videos, so I'm wondering if he was just really busy shooting this stuff while he was in San Diego.
"Making his way through the floating city of Columbia, Booker DeWitt is a man on a mission! Luckily his ever helpful companion, Elizabeth, is always around to keep him stocked up on supplies, even if she might get a little overzealous with her throwing. Booker, Catch!"

Fan Film: Call of Duty: Final Hour
This short was directed by Jared Pelletier. It's set in World War II, and it packs an emotional punch. The story centers on a group of soldiers in a firefight on the battlefield, and things get intense for them.

Video: Lord of the Rings In Real Life
As a part of Improv Everywhere‘s silly Movies In Real Life series, the New York City based improv art group brought Lord of the Rings to Central Park’s iconic Bow Bridge. Well, just Gandolf saying his famous line, “You shall not pass,” but New Yorkers seemed to enjoy the gag none the less.
"For our latest mission we recreated the famous "You shall not pass!" scene from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, placing Gandalf the Grey on Central Park's iconic Bow Bridge. Rather than facing off against a Balrog as he did on the Bridge of Khazad-dûm, this time Gandalf faced an even more daunting foe, Central Park tourists. The tourists proved to be too powerful for Gandalf, as nearly every one was able to successfully pass."

Spider-Man
Based upon the Spider-Man
of the 2099 universe, these absolutely awesome photos were taken by
DuckyJessica with her boyfriend posing as Miguel O’Hara. Taken at
various locations around the city of Sydney, the photos really bring out
the amazing details in the Spider-Man costume and it’s incredible work.
If you would like to see more of her photography then head over to her Flickr page where there are more Spider-Man 2099 photos but also more photos of various cosplayers at conventions.

Asuka
Photographed by Oldmacman
"Since they are airing Evangelion 3.33 at New York Comic Con i thought it would be a good time to upload my Danaged Asuka Plugsuit body paint. I really like this ripped up plugsuit and this was a really fun body paint to do. It's so nice to get to do Asuka sets, it's so nice and easy to get in character for her. "

Raven
Photographed by ChikaraSan in Kassel, Germany
"Completely self-made and man, was I under time pressure! The leotard is made of faux stretchy leather in a slight off-white tone, as are the shoes. Wig is self-styled and the gems are self-made too. But there is still a lot I want to redo and make better for a reshooting very soon, I hope, maybe even with my pretty Starfire. (the form of her hood for example. I didn't have enough fabric left …) I also really love her appearance in season 4 episode 13, "The end part 3". Ah but I'm generally in love with all the Raven-centered episodes and I plan on making more Raven costumes. I felt very comfortable wearing this costume and I'm very happy I got to portray her, even if it was just a test run. So yeah, I'm really looking forward to re-wear it and re-shoot it with epic smoke or something."

Nazgul
Nazgul (from The Lord of the Rings) by Piper (TheSpookLock)
Great. Now I want a frickin horse. Thanks for that.
"So my plan for halloween is to dress up as a Nazgul with my black horse and go trick or treating but instead of saying “trick or treat” i’ll either scream or hiss “Bagginssssssssss, Shhhhhhhire” and then ransack their villages in my search for the One Ring."

This is the single best portrayal of Tank Girl I've ever seen. KayLynn-Syrin has the attitude, stance, and expression down cold.

Photographed by Si Spencer
"Cosplay of Fran from Final Fantasy XII. Proud to say I won the inaugural Masquerade at the Eurogamer Expo with this costume - their first, and mine too! Probably my favourite costume to wear, though I did invent several new swear words whilst making it. Her armour and helm are made from craft foam, coated with black spray paint and ebony Rub 'n' Buff. The corset is more foam armour, 4-in-1 chainmail, and a miracle of structural engineering."

Fan Film: Wonder Woman
Rainfall Films has put out a short film featuring Wonder Woman kicking ass the way we know she can, and must. I seriously hope DC is paying attention, because this is the Wonder Woman movie we’ve all been waiting for. Now just make it an hour and a halfish longer…

Rosette Christopher
Rosette Christopher (from Chrono Crusade) by Riddle
Photographed by Benny Lee
"This is my anime version of the costume trying to mimick exactly what I saw on the screen and character sheets. This costume has a special spot in my heart because I was able to meet the creator (Moriyama-San) in it and he gave me a sketch and told me I was the official Rosette in his mind."
Korra
"These pictures were taken by my fantastic boyfriend on the summer holiday in Croatia :) I was wearing the original Korra dress, what was pretty hot in the middle of the summer, when the sun was shining like it wanted even the sea to boil….. so my only and clever companion suggested to take off the furry leather skirt and the boots :)
If you’re interested, I got sunburn… But since Korra is a girl from the damn Southern Pole and she doesn’t usually show her shoulders when the sun can shine on them… just don’t mind… She might easily get sunburn too, ok?
Even if I’ve got sunburn and cooked in my cosplay and I also have to admit that those rock were some very uncomfortable rocks to stand or waterbend on (seriously, just look at them), I enjoyed that photo-shooting. :)
The main reason I love these photos because of the strong presence of the earth, you know, the uncomfortable rocks, and the water as elements. :) I hope you’ll enjoy my photos! (Anyway, I wish you could have seen the faces of the sunbathing grannies when I slowly walked by… in my furry costume….. :’D)"
