Pets: Guinea Pig in Armor
In honor of his recently deceased guinea pig Lucky, Ebay seller mightys0x is currently auctioning off Lucky’s old handmade knight’s helmet and suit of scalemail armor. All the proceeds of the sale will be donated to the Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue in Virginia.

Pets: Thor Cat
"I dressed my cat, Sir Didymus, up as Thor, to match my favorite “Thor Cat” print by artist Jenny Parks. The mini-Mjolnir and shoulder-thingies (uh, technical terms) were printed on our PrintrBot Jr. 3D printer.
Although he looks miserable, he was actually fine with the ordeal since I put a lot of catnip on his Mjolnir."

I can't believe this, but Pugs dressed as Lord of the Rings is an actual thing. I'm not talking about a single photo set on Tumblr. There's a whole community devoted to this past time, and the costumes can be extremely elaborate. It's enough to make me want to go out and get a Pug.

"A boy and his (albino) wookiee sidekick. Meet Liam Solo and Winstonbacca. This hunk of junk made the Kessel Crawl in less than 12 parsecs.
We made the Millennium Falcon for our 9 month old to play in. Because what kid DOESN'T need their very own Millennium Falcon?
Inspired by a cardboard box, built completely from boxes, scrap cardboard, packing tape and a little aluminum foil, paper mache and spray paint, with acrylic details and finishing touches. Topped off with a bandolier for the schnauzer made out of craft foam to make him the perfect albino wookiee sidekick."
