Project: Elderly Superheroes

It must be tough being a superhero in this economy. It’s not like the job market is teeming with positions that require a person to wear spandex, and I would guess it’s a lot harder to gallivant across city rooftops when you have arthritis and bad knees. Project: Stormtrooper Walks for a Good Cause

Aussie Stormtrooper Paul French is currently walking across Australia, from Perth to Sydney (a total of 4100 km or 2547 miles,) to raise mondy for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
For more than 25 years, Starlight Children’s Foundation has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses and life-altering injuries by providing entertainment, education and family activities that help them cope with the pain, fear and isolation of prolonged illness.
That stormtrooper suit sure is a great attention grabber, but it’s probably not the most comfortable outfit to walk 4100 kilometers in. Here’s a picture gallery of French as he walks through Australia in his suit.
