"This was definitely a collaboration costume. I purchased the visor from Taylor at Crabcat Industries and handed it off to Will at WM Armory to create the helmet. My friend, Meredith (who is also an amazing cosplayer), created Tali’s signature wrap/hood as a wedding present (best present ever), and Ammnra Creations did the omni-tool. I put it all together, created all the detail bits (belt, harness, boots, gloves, etc), installed a fan and tint in the helmet, and debuted the costume at Katsucon ’13!"
"People are talking about this so I want to answer some of the comments I found here and around the internet.
1. I dont have freckles, they are part of the make up, I wish, I love them
2. This is part of the shoot that I am planning, I'm practicing how to make scars on my face and finishing the weapons that will be used for future "battle" pics.
3. Everyone knows that we can change the character at will,
Red hair is not a must in this cosplay.
4. I received a lot of nagging about my nose ring, this is a feature I have in most of my cosplays, you can hardly find photos without it, it's something I chose not a bug "
"This is my newest project, The M-12 Locust sub machine gun from Mass Effect. I really like the design of this gun in the series and started off to make my own."
"Here's the first finished photo of my EDI costume made from lycra, fabric paint, and foam. Thank you Matt Smith for the photo!"
"I wanted to cosplay an Asari I just wasn't sure on which one I wanted to do because I knew I didn't want to cosplay Liara. I ultimately decided on the Justicar from the multiplayer because 1. I could choose my own colors and 2. the facial markings are awesome and 3. I like the Justicar armor design.
This cosplay took me several months to complete and for the most part I am happy with it. I learned a many things and I can't wait to work on new sets of armor!"
"This was quite a labor of love for my boyfriend and I! While he was working on his own Zaeed costume he came across some femZaeed fanart and decided he wanted to make me a matching costume.
His work took the longest, spanning over 3 months, while taking a break to work on a N7 commission. He works in EVA foam and is a madman on details. If you want to see WIP and videos on it please go here [link]
My part was to sew the undersuit, which was so simple compared to his work. I finished the suits in under 2 weeks, but I will need to go back and improve the tattoo sleeves."
"The suit was commissioned from hmwsgx in 2011. It debuted [giggity] at the Bioware Costume Contest during SDCC ‘11, where it won the N7 Award. It was worn briefly at SDCC ‘12 and will be retired after D*Con ‘12.
Since early 2012, minor adjustments have been made to pull the suit tighter in certain areas, and all photos were shot and edited by myself and/or Boris-The-Animal. The only site currently hosting them is deviantArt (under ThresherMaw). If you happen to see any distributed elsewhere without credit or watermarks, please please let me know!"
