"This picture means the world to me - a casual staged picture of Mako & Korra - nothing more than that, but everything just needed from this very short and rushed shoot I was lucky to get with *Aigue-Marine. Hopefully one day we'll get a real shoot, though it might be long time since we live in different countries - damn you distance!"
"I was sad that I couldn't get any good pictures at AFA for Momiji, but OMG I am so happy with how this shoot turned out! Brian did magic with the photography and I had fun doing all the different action poses
The shoot location faces a busy 4-lane road and apparently lots of motorists slowed down to gawk while we were shooting... I found out from Meganelover after the shoot that we had caused a minor accident, a taxi bumped into the back of a van! Oops. Good thing it wasn't serious. XD
The basic costume was sewn by my tailor, but I added the ribbon and painted on the details. I also sewed the arm warmers.
My naginata is made of cardboard, PVC pipe, compressed foam board, balsa wood and styrofoam balls. The bells are real and they jingle when I move. Armor and accessories are made of craft foam, PVC, rope and styrofoam balls."
"This was quite a labor of love for my boyfriend and I! While he was working on his own Zaeed costume he came across some femZaeed fanart and decided he wanted to make me a matching costume.
His work took the longest, spanning over 3 months, while taking a break to work on a N7 commission. He works in EVA foam and is a madman on details. If you want to see WIP and videos on it please go here [link]
My part was to sew the undersuit, which was so simple compared to his work. I finished the suits in under 2 weeks, but I will need to go back and improve the tattoo sleeves."
