An employee of the Lego Store in Minneapolis going by "Feslessleedr" has spent about a year designing a very realistic Portal gun using Lego Mindstorms NXT to implement lights and moving rods. Originally, he built this two thousand piece Portal gun as part of a costume-play for the CONvergence 2012 in Minneapolis, but it has lead to him becoming a bit internet famous.
