Frodo Baggins (from The Lord of the Rings)

"For our latest mission we recreated the famous "You shall not pass!" scene from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, placing Gandalf the Grey on Central Park's iconic Bow Bridge. Rather than facing off against a Balrog as he did on the Bridge of Khazad-dûm, this time Gandalf faced an even more daunting foe, Central Park tourists. The tourists proved to be too powerful for Gandalf, as nearly every one was able to successfully pass."
"So my plan for halloween is to dress up as a Nazgul with my black horse and go trick or treating but instead of saying “trick or treat” i’ll either scream or hiss “Bagginssssssssss, Shhhhhhhire” and then ransack their villages in my search for the One Ring."
"A couple of weeks back I had the opportunity to take some photos of my good friend Frederica in her Galadriel cosplay .. I am too excited to wait till all are edited so here is the first set :)"
"My son Alexander was a hobbit for his second Halloween. I put this costume together over a few months. The clothing items all came from thrift shops or baby consignment stores (corduroy pant, white button-down shirt, and a tan vest). The cape was sewn by my mother from emerald green felt material ($2 at Goodwill). The brooch had to be just right so we ordered one on Amazon.com to match the ones they wear in the Lord of the Rings Films ($6). His feet are even hairy. I used fun-fur yarn material to wrap his brown/tan flip flops and create his furry little feet ($5 @ Joann's). Overall, the entire costume cost less than $25 and our little Hobbit looked totally epic."

"This is a present for my brother, because he is the best brother. I wanted to finish it in time for the opening of The Hobbit, but alas I was too slow."
