Atomic Wonder Woman

Photographed by Adam Patrick Murray

This is the single most epic Wonder Woman cosplay I've ever seen.  Meagan Marie never fails to impress, but this time, she's outdone herself.  Completely amazing!
"Ready, set, ATOMIC! I instantly fell in love with Atomic Wonder Woman’s design when this statue was revealed. Although a few people didn’t recognize who I was without help from the belt buckle, this costume was received really well at SDCC. And it was super comfortable!

I’ll do a comprehensive blog with construction notes at a later date, but the majority of the armor is made from Worbla and EVA foam. The concrete is expandable insulation foam coated with textured spray paint. You can check out some of my progress photos here!

Overall I’m really happy with how this costume turned out. I’m going to make a few small adjustments before I wear it again, like taking in the top so it fits better."

Druchii Assasin

Warhammer Week (Fantasy Weekend | Day 7):
Druchii Assasin from Warhammer Fantasy

"And a nice picture of my husband as a druchii assasin. Also based on a concept art. All the leathern armour is made by him and he decided to remove all the spikes because you know it would quite hard to wear them 4 days in the forest).

The other clothing is made by me, both sewing and painting. It's a pity you can't see the shirt here, it came out preatty well. And besides that there was a west that I like most of all other parts of the costume. And he's holding our flag with the Khaine's hand on it."

Figumate Sweet Raiden

2010.07.01_Anime Expo 2010 (Day 01) 087f

Figumate Sweet Raiden (from Metal Gear Solid 4 toy line)  by Crystal Graziano
Photographed by BigWhiteBazooka

"This costume is near and dear to my heart- it took me to Japan after all!  When I first saw the Sweet Snake figurine set, I fell in love with how adorable each of the figurines was, and when my friend Jill said she was doing Sweet Snake, I knew I wanted to do Raiden.  Hatsuu later joined us as the adorable Sweet Ocelot.  I had a lot of fun cosplaying with them!

I heard about a Kojima signing at Comic Con and a supposed cosplay contest for Metal Gear.  I figured the contest was a joke because I'd never heard of anything like that before, and just showed up to the signing hoping to get my costume signed.  I never did get it signed, but the contest turned out to be real-- and the surprise prize was a trip to Tokyo Game Show.  I later won the Kojima Productions Award with this costume at TGS and was told I increased sales of the figurines by Kojima himself.  Not bad at all!"
